Join the SCC Art Collectors Club - Be a CHARTER Member!

Ever notice the MILES of unadorned wall space at SCC's many sites?? Here's your chance to help us create a lovely, inspiring and educational permanent art collection at SCC. Join the SCC Art Collectors Club now until June 30, 2011 and you'll be considered a CHARTER member! The SCC Art Collectors Club is planning to host an art show to help develop the College's permanent collection. Iowa artists or artists with a connection to Iowa will be invited to submit digital images of their work to this juried art show. Best of Show prizes will be awarded. An unusual twist is that selected works will also constitute the charter donations to this permanent collection at the college, a special bonus for emerging artists. The Southeastern Community College Foundation was established in 1982 to attract, manage and disburse contributions for the support of Southeastern Community College. Areas in which assistance will be rendered include, but are not limited to:

  1. enhancement and extension of facilities, equipment, and services and,
  2. awarding of scholarships, grants, and/or loans to students, faculty, staff and departments of the college or to the college governing board.
