The Southeastern Iowa SBDC offers classes for entrepreneurs and business owners on a wide range of business topics. Check the SCC Options Catalog for a listing of all class offerings.

For the entrepreneur, we offer classes from business feasibility and writing the business plan to the nuts and bolts of running a business.

For those already in business, we provide workshops and classes that help you improve your skills in managing a growing business.

Got a great business idea? Want to take that hobby big time? This FREE 2-hour workshop will cover the basics to begin working on your business idea! Questions are encouraged.

QuickBooks Pro Level I

If you are a new user of QuickBooks Pro this hands-on seminar is for you! Learn how to set up a company, customer and vendor files, and chart of accounts. Learn how to manage money coming in and money going out, including sales, paying bills, and tracking expenses. You'll learn how to reconcile accounts, and use reports to understand your business, including profitability and sales trends. All materials and books included, basic computer knowledge is required.
