The FY07 Tech Request Process will
begin Tuesday, November 14th.
The SCC Administrative Cabinet will be responsible for providing the
forms to all departments. The forms will
be due on Monday, March 5th and decisions will be made in early to
mid-May.
Interact Communications will be
presenting three design templates to the SCC Web Committee during the month of
November. These designs and navigational
schemes will be analyzed to determine the best possible Web design for SCC. More info to come in early December.

RSM McGladery completed their comprehensive security audit of SCC’s network and systems. This will help SCC build the framework for a formal security plan to protect our employees, students and systems.
The ITS division continues to work on transitioning to the new Datatel release. Tentative transition date is spring break of 2007. Please contact Judy Houseal if you have any questions.
Dale Walker is working on providing
Microsoft software and operating system for students at a discounted rate. We hope to have this available during the
spring semester in the bookstores at Keokuk and
When are we moving to Microsoft Vista and Office 12? Chuck stated that meetings will be coordinated with the IT faculty to determine what will be taught in the fall of 2007.
